Rounding out its education-sector training series, Etqan International has launched a language course for admission staff, covering the communication skills needed throughout the student enrollment and admissions process.
The course focuses on professional, welcoming communication: handling inquiries from prospective students and parents, explaining admission requirements and procedures clearly, conducting interviews or informational sessions, and managing written correspondence such as offer letters, follow-ups, and official notices. Given that admission staff are typically an institution’s first point of contact for prospective families, the training also incorporates customer-service-oriented communication techniques.
“Admission staff shape a family’s very first impression of an institution,” said an Etqan International spokesperson. “Confident, clear communication at this stage builds trust before a student ever sets foot in a classroom.”
The program blends spoken and written practice, including mock inquiry calls, interview simulations, and correspondence drafting, preparing admission staff for the full range of interactions they handle during enrollment periods.
