Etqan International has launched a language course designed for technical staff working within educational institutions, including IT support, laboratory technicians, and audio-visual and equipment specialists.
The program addresses the specific communication needs of technical roles: explaining technical issues in plain language, writing clear support instructions and reports, coordinating with teaching staff on classroom technology needs, and communicating effectively during equipment training sessions for faculty and students.
“Technical staff frequently need to translate complex information into terms that non-technical colleagues can act on quickly,” said an Etqan International program coordinator. “This course is about making that translation clear and efficient, in both spoken and written form.”
The course combines targeted vocabulary building with practical writing exercises, including drafting user guides, incident reports, and support correspondence — skills directly applicable to technical staff’s daily responsibilities.
